About Your Host
I’m Rob, and I didn’t set out to become a “solo cruiser.” I just booked a cruise on my own one day and realized very quickly how many questions no one really answers. Would it feel awkward. Would I end up eating alone every night. Would I actually enjoy it.
Some parts were uncomfortable at first. Others were surprisingly freeing. Over time, solo cruising went from something I tried once to something I kept coming back to. Different ships, different itineraries, different vibes. Each cruise taught me something new about traveling alone, meeting people, and being comfortable doing things at my own pace.
I started The Solo Cruise Podcast because I wanted the kind of conversations I was looking for before my first solo cruise. Real experiences. Honest answers. No cruise line spin. Just one solo cruiser talking to others who have done it, or are thinking about doing it, and figuring it out along the way.
